Refunds & Cancellations
Last updated 21 September 2026 · Version 1.1
If an adventure isn't right for your family, talk to us — we'd rather fix it, and we'll refund it if we can't.
1. Our promise
Your experience with Paideora matters to us. We want every adventure to feel special for you and your child. If something isn't right, please let us know and give us the opportunity to make it right. If we're unable to resolve the problem and you're not happy with the experience, we'll be happy to provide a refund.
2. What you buy
Paideora adventures are paid digital purchases — A$9.99 AUD for a Ready-Made Adventure and A$14.99 AUD for a Personalised Adventure.
Paideora does not currently offer subscriptions or recurring charges. You can leave the checkout before completing payment without being charged.
3. How to ask for help or a refund
Email us at Paideora@outlook.com and tell us what happened. Please include the email address on your Paideora account and which adventure you bought, so we can find your purchase quickly.
You don't need to explain yourself at length. A sentence about what didn't feel right is enough for us to look into it.
4. What happens next
- We look into what went wrong and try to put it right — for example by fixing a technical problem or recreating illustrations.
- If we can't resolve it and you're still not happy, we refund your purchase.
- Refunds are made through Stripe, our payment provider, back to the original payment method. Your bank usually shows it within a few business days.
- Once an adventure is refunded it no longer stays unlocked in your account.
- A payment that is charged back through your bank is treated the same way.
Refunding a purchase does not delete your child's profile, saved progress or illustrations. You stay in control of that from your account at any time.
5. Your consumer rights
This policy is in addition to the rights and guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If an adventure is faulty, not as described, or does not do what we said it would, you may be entitled to a remedy under that law, and nothing here limits it.
6. Changes to this policy
If we change how refunds are handled, we will update this page, the version number and the last-updated date.
