Paideora creates illustrated story adventures that place a child inside the great tales of the ancient world. These terms explain, in plain language, what you are buying, what a purchase gives you and what you can expect from us. They are written for the parent or guardian who sets up and uses the service. Paideora is operated from Australia.

By creating an account or buying an adventure, you agree to these terms.

An adult creates and controls the account. Children are not asked to create their own account. Please keep your sign-in details to yourself, and let us know if you think someone else has used your account.

You are responsible for the information you enter, and for only sharing details and photographs you have permission to provide.

Paideora offers paid digital story adventures. Paideora does not currently charge subscription or recurring fees.

• Ready-Made Adventure — A$9.99 AUD. The complete interactive story with Alex or Maria as the hero.
• Personalised Adventure — A$14.99 AUD. The complete interactive story with your own child illustrated as the hero.

Free story previews on our public pages stay open to everyone and do not require a purchase.

The applicable price is displayed before you complete your purchase. Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include any applicable tax. Payments are securely processed by Stripe.

Payments are securely processed by Stripe, our third-party payment provider. Paideora does not collect or store your full payment card details. We may change our prices from time to time; a change never affects an adventure you have already bought.

Access is digital and immediate. Once your payment is confirmed, the adventure unlocks in your account and you can reopen it any time from My Stories while your account is open and the service is available.

A Ready-Made purchase unlocks that adventure for your account, whichever hero you choose. A Personalised purchase unlocks that adventure for the child profile it was bought for.

Removing your saved progress for an adventure does not remove your access to it. You can start that adventure again without paying again. Access can end following a refund or a payment charged back through your bank, deletion of the child profile a Personalised adventure was bought for, or deletion of your Paideora account.

A purchase is for your own personal, family, non-commercial enjoyment. You may read the story with your child and keep it in your account. Please do not resell it, republish it, or use it commercially or to train other systems.

The stories, artwork, characters and design remain ours. The illustrations created for your child are yours to enjoy within your family.

For a Personalised Adventure, your child's illustrated character is created after purchase. Providing a photograph is optional, and a photograph is only ever processed after you confirm you are the child's parent or guardian, or have their permission, and give consent.

How a photograph is handled, what is stored and what you can delete yourself is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Your experience with Paideora matters to us. If something isn't right, please tell us and give us the opportunity to make it right. If we can't resolve the problem and you're not happy with the experience, we'll be happy to provide a refund.

Paideora does not currently offer subscriptions or recurring charges, so there is nothing to cancel. Full details are set out in our Refunds & Cancellations policy.

Please use Paideora as intended: don't try to bypass purchases or sign-in, don't attempt to disrupt or probe the service, don't upload anything unlawful or anything you don't have permission to share, and don't share your account so others can use adventures you bought.

We may suspend or close an account that is used in these ways.

We work to keep Paideora available and working well, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Maintenance, provider outages and technical faults can happen. If something is broken for you, please contact us so we can help.

We may add, change or retire stories and features over time.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies the rights and guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where our service or a purchase does not meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy under that law, in addition to anything set out here.

Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, our responsibility for a purchase is limited to providing the adventure you bought or refunding it.

If we change these terms, we will update this page, the version number and the last-updated date. Continuing to use Paideora after a change means you accept the updated terms.

You may write a review of an adventure you have bought and opened. Reviews are published only with your permission and only under the display name you choose. By submitting a review you confirm it is your own honest experience and that it contains no personal information about your child or anyone else.

We read each review before it appears and may withhold or remove one that contains personal information, contact details, sensitive information, spam, abuse or clearly irrelevant content. We do not withhold a review because it is negative, critical or follows a refund.

You may edit or withdraw your review at any time. Private feedback you send us is never published.
